Women Survivors Alliance, a 501c3 non-profit whose purpose is to establish a network where women affected by cancer can find their voice, improve their quality of life, and embrace their journey. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to an organization supporting all cancer survivors on behalf of the WSA.

National Cancer Survivors Day® is a poignant, inspiring Celebration of Life led by the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation. It is also a call to action for further research,
more resources, and increased public awareness to improve the lives of cancer survivors.
​
This day provides an opportunity for all people living with a history of cancer – including America’s more than 18 million cancer survivors – to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who have supported them along the way.
Our Race Hosts - Survivor Sisters
Rhonda C. Hicks
Rhonda is a 25+ IT professional, entrepreneur, wife, mom, and two-time cancer survivor. She launched Amazing Grace Event Management™ (AGEM) executing events on a local, national, and international scale. In 2019, the company expanded its vision to include consulting services
(AGEM & Consulting™) to provide coaching support for businesses to create an environment of thriving team synergy through our “Accountability Workshops™”.
In 2016 she founded Project SHE™, now SHE IS™, whose major initiative is The SheTreat™ - a space where women can step away from the everyday grind to enjoy an uplifting and encouraging experience to be a better woman, first for herself, and then her family and her community.
Rhonda is also a columnist with Unconditionally Her, a media production/publishing company producing female-centered lifestyle content. It is entitled "The Rhythm where she explores the idea of balance, mindfulness and the soul.
Karen Shayne
Karen is the true emulation of Southern Girl Charm as she was born in Northeast Georgia. For most of her career, she spent her life in healthcare, but after a diagnosis of cancer, she reinvented herself and moved to Nashville, Tennessee. She then began work in production by creating award-winning healthcare segments for Nashville based CBS and NBC. Karen also featured in HuffPost, AOL/Yahoo, People Magazine, Nashville Business Journal, Hope For Women Magazine The Doctors Channel, Healthline, and ABC Chicago.

Unconditionally Her is Karen’s legacy. Karen has always believed every woman should live their best life, always celebrating who they are – unconditionally. It is her hope the magazine shares not only amazing articles, beautiful stories, helpful articles and recipes right from the heart of her southern kitchen, but will also inspire change in everyone’s corner of the world.
